He does answer us.

Lately, I've had thoughts about people I have yet to meet and talk with, friends I have yet to see and know exist. They are people I hope will be a part of my life, even if our times together are short, few, and far between. I haven't the slightest clue what they are like, what they have been through, or when I will meet them. What I do know, though, is that they are hurting and for some reason, I am hurting for them. From one hurting person to another, I have nothing to offer aside from my own brokenness, and this heart that God is developing in me for them.
