It's going to be a good one!

Before I got home last Sunday, I had big plans (and every good intention to follow through with those big plans) to spend these few days doing "useful" things like reading, journaling, and pondering the important questions in life. But aside from successfully sleeping in, being a couch potato, and eating more gummy candies than my cavity-prone teeth can afford, I haven't done a whole lot. I will, however, say that I cooked up a pot of chicken vegetable soup (for the first time!), ushered in the new lunar year, and began my 24th year of existence! I know it's going to be a good year, not because of anything I have planned, but because of everything I don't have planned.
